Dion Seminara – Principal (Architect)

Dion is an award winning architect with over 20 years of practical industry experience in design and construction.  He is recognised as a highly qualified industry professional who delivers innovative design solutions for his clients.

After working for a number of reputable Brisbane based architectural firms, Dion commenced private practice in 1993.  In this time he completed two major residential landmark projects – Glentworth, a $6.5 million renovation to a National Trust house and the well-known $4 million contemporary new home at Mt Nebo.

In 2003 Dion founded dion seminara architecture, also known as dsarchitecture. His expertise with residential design, with an emphasis on renovations of character homes, has earned him a reputation as one of Brisbane’s residential architecture, interior and landscape specialists.

Dion is also a Licensed Home and General Building Contractor.

 

alexandra_lowson_lgAlexandra Lowson – PA / Office Administrator

Alexandra effortlessly juggles the roles of Personal Assistant to Dion and Office Administrator.  She is also a professional photographer and a number of the images on the website are her work.

Alexandra draws upon over 15 years’ experience in roles including PA to the Regional Director of Universal Leaf Tobacco in Zimbabwe, Marketing Administrator for New Zealand Winegrowers in Auckland and Project Co-Ordinator at Eden Park over the Rugby World Cup 2011 in New Zealand.

 

lilian_arli_lgLillian Arli – Interior Designer/Project Designer

Lillian is a seasoned Project Designer with experience in both small and large scale residential and commercial architecture sectors.

Before joining dsarchitecture in 2014 Lillian worked for Nettleontribe (Sydney), Denton Corker Marshall (Jakarta) and Ellerbe Becket (Minneapolis).

Key projects that she has been involved in include Lifestyle Working Collins Street (Docklands), Doltone House Even Centre (Pyrmont), Workplace 6 (Pyrmont) and The East Apartment (Edgecliff).

Lillian has a strong passion in architectural and interior design as well as construction details.  Her energy and enthusiasm for projects leads her to creatively explore design solutions that will.

 

thomas_hartigan_lgThomas Hartigan – Graduate of Architecture

Thomas graduated from the University of Queensland with a Masters of Architecture in 2012.

He then worked and travelled throughout Europe before returning to his hometown of Brisbane to focus on a career in residential architecture.

Since joining dsarchitecture, Thomas has been a valuable addition to the team bringing a fresh approach with creative and innovative design solutions.

 

leese_seminara_lgLeesa Seminara – Landscape Designer

With a passion for creating garden designs that provide additional living areas, Leesa’s skill and expertise in landscape design will add the finishing touches to your custom new home build or renovation.  Her services can also be engaged for an independent project.

Our focus is on enhancing our clients’ lives through better design rather than winning awards.  But we have still won a few of them.
